Bet Boosts Features 2g5w1c

Bet Boosts are another popular feature that racing bettors should make good use of during Royal Ascot. These are typically offered by only the bigger betting sites (who have deeper pockets!). These bet boosts allow you to enhance the odds of your chosen horses once they are on your betslip, for example a horse may be listed as 5/1 but when you add it to your betslip you will have the option to “boost” this to 11/2. Here’s a couple of the bet boost offers currently available from UK betting sites:

Betfair – Boost your odds on 3 horses every day

betfair – Promotion is available to new and existing customers aged 18 years or over. Max stake per boost token is £25, valid for 24 hours.

Best Odds Guaranteed 75863

Best odds guaranteed is the king of all Betting Offers for Horse Racing and any bookmaker worth their salt should offer this nowadays.

If you are not familiar with Best Odds Guaranteed (or BOG as it’s known for short) then here’s a quick explainer:

Some betting sites will offer BOG on all UK and Irish racing, others will offer it on a few selected races, and some won’t offer it at all. When placing your bet with Best Odds Guaranteed you are doing just that – guaranteeing that your bet will be settled at the best possible odds for your selection.

For example if you place a bet on a horse and take the odds available at the time, let’s say 8/1, but then the price of your horse drifts and it eventually starts the race at odds of 10/1, you will get those odds of 10/1 as you have BOG. Likewise, if the price of your horse shortens and it goes off at 6/1 you can still watch the race safe in the knowledge that you got the better price of 8/1 because you have BOG on your bet. Read our Guide to Best Odds Guaranteed for a fuller explanation and the complete list of bookies currently offering this service.

Non Runner No Bet 1m5t47

"Non Runner no Bet” or “Non Runner Money back” as some bookmakers are now calling it, is a feature whereby if you place a bet on a horse and it doesn’t end up running in the race, then you get your money back. There can be a variety of reasons why a horse doesn’t run including it being lame overnight, sustaining an injury or refusing to go into the stalls at the start of the race. In the event of any of these and if you’ve placed your bet with a betting site offering NRNB, then you would get your stake returned to you.

You’ll want to make sure you are placing your bets with a bookie that offers NRNB, particularly if you are placing your bets a few days or weeks before Royal Ascot. The bookies usually change their markets to Non Runner No Bet one week before the race, however some betting sites will go NRNB even earlier for the big meetings like Royal Ascot – so always check with your betting site before placing your bets.

Getting the best odds on your Royal Ascot bets 2b452i

When betting on Royal Ascot it’s worthwhile looking around to see which online betting sites have the best odds for your selections. You could do this by comparing the odds from a variety of different betting sites, however if this results in you placing multiple bets with multiple different bookmakers then this could become confusing and hard to manage. A simpler way to make sure you are consistently getting good value on your bets is to learn which bookmakers offer the lowest margins on horse racing, and then placing all (or at least the majority) of your bets with these betting sites only. This will help you maximise any returns in the long run – and let’s be honest, we all want that!

Royal Ascot 2025 Betting Tips 6o5wr

Replete with Royal processions and millenary marvels, the five-day Royal Ascot bonanza is one of the most mouthwatering meetings of the season from a punting perspective.

Like most racing fans, we can’t resist a flutter on this summer sizzler. Here, we take an early look at three of the most iconic contests and reveal where our Royal Ascot ante-post pounds have been invested.

St. James’s Palace Stakes 1837q

Following the retirement of stayer supreme Kyprios, punters must look elsewhere for their banker of the meeting. We found our answer in the Group 1 contest for the three-year-old colts on the opening day.

A typically stellar cast is assembling for this event on the round course, with the current list of entries featuring the winners of the English, Irish, and French 2000 Guineas.

As the Newmarket champ, Charlie Appleby’s Ruling Court merits plenty of respect, while the sparkling turn of foot shown by Henri Matisse at Longchamp could be a potent weapon.

Whilst respected, neither of the aforementioned duo is the most talented three-year-old miler we have seen this season. That honour belongs to the John & Thady Gosden-trained Field Of Gold.

Such is the ability under the bonnet of this strapping Juddmonte runner, you can almost forgive Kieran Shoemark for the overconfidence which saw Field Of Gold lose out by a rapidly diminishing ½l in the English Guineas. However, the Gosden’s weren’t of a forgiving nature in the aftermath of that defeat, with Shoemark promptly losing his status as yard number one.

With Colin Keane taking over in the saddle for the Irish 2000 Guineas, the four-time Irish Champion jockey pushed the accelerate button in plenty of time. The response was simply electric, as Field Of Gold scorched the Curragh turf inside the final furlong to score by a widening 3½l. Field Of Gold’s sire, Kingman, lost out narrowly in the 2014 2000 Guineas before slamming his rivals in the Irish version and this race. Eleven years on, we are prepared to bet that this will be a case of like father like son.

Prince Of Wales’s Stakes 422jm

The feature event on Day 2 sees a crack field of older performers tackle the 1m2f trip. Auguste Rodin claimed the 2024 edition of this for Aidan O’Brien, and the master of Ballydoyle is responsible for the 2025 favourite, Los Angeles.

One of the toughest horses in training, this son of Camelot claimed Irish Derby success in 2024 but has proved just as effective over 1m2f this term. Last sighted claiming the Tattersalls Gold Cup, he seems sure to be involved in the finish. However, a late change of pace can prove decisive in this contest, and he may lack the gears of a couple of these rivals.

Tattersalls Gold Cup runner-up Anmaaat has realistic prospects of turning the tables, but at seven years of age, would become the oldest winner in living memory.

The one to be on is the William Haggas star, Economics. In six career starts, this Night Of Thunder colt has only tasted defeat on soft or heavy ground. On good or quicker, he has the profile of an elite performer. Mastering Auguste Rodin in the Irish Champion Stakes, with Los Angeles back in third, he boasts the same rating as Los Angeles and Anmaat. However, unlike that duo, he has yet to appear this season, meaning the extent of his improvement from three to four is yet to be unleashed at the track. Successful first time out in each of the past two seasons, we like his chances of landing this.

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes 6k533b

Our final ante-post fancy comes in the big sprint highlight on the final day. Having claimed the 2024 Commonwealth Cup over course and distance, the Kevin Ryan-trained Inisherin is an obvious contender. Having gone off the boil at the back end last season, it was encouraging to see him bounce back to winning ways in a Group 2 at York last time. If building on that, he ought to go well.

Previous editions of this meeting have taught us to overlook Australian sprinters at our peril. Whilst the 2025 field lacks a runner based in Australia, we do have one that used to be. Recently arriving at the yard of Aidan O’Brien, Storm Boy hit the frame over this trip in Group 1 company in his homeland. A repeat of that level should see him involved, but his last of nine effort on yard debut provided more questions than answers.

Overall, we suspect the market has this right in rating the French raider Lazzat as the one they all have to beat. Returning to Inisherin, the Kevin Ryan runner mastered Flora Of Bermuda by a hard-fought neck at York when carrying 3lb more than that rival. When Lazzat clashed with Flora Of Bermuda in the Prix Maurice de Gheest, he conceded 4lb, but that didn’t stop him leaving the Andrew Balding runner trailing four lengths in his wake. Lightning quick and proven at up to 7½f, his Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes rivals will do well to deny him inside the final furlong.
